da brdice: With January just around the corner, transfer rumours have started to circulate, and while Leeds United have been linked with a number of arrivals there have also been rumours of an impending departure.
What’s the story then?
da apostaganha: Football Insider have stated that Lewie Coyle could finally seal a permanent exit from Elland Road, after spending the past few seasons out on loan at Fleetwood.
The right-back may well be set for a move to a seaside town in Lancashire, but Fleetwood apparently isn’t set to be his destination.

Indeed, Marcelo Bielsa has apparently greenlighted a move that would see the defender join Blackpool, but perhaps Leeds are acting too hastily on this one.
Should wait
There’s no reason for Leeds to have already made the decision to get rid of Coyle.
The right-back has been nothing but impressive during his loan spells with Fleetwood as he’s won two Player of the Year awards while also assisting five goals this season.
League One isn’t the same standard as the Championship, but he’s more than earnt his chance to have a shot at stepping up a level.
Coyle is due back at Elland Road in January anyway, so what’s the harm of having him around during training sessions to properly judge where his game is at before making a decision on the future?
Of course, January also comes straight after the busy festive period, and Leeds will need more depth than ever during this time, so having Coyle around if only for a few weeks will be a bit of a boost.
It’s a win-win situation. If United bring him back into the fold then decide they want rid of him that’d be a fair choice to make, but if he moves on and continues to impress then they may regret acting hastily.
Meanwhile, it seems as though Leeds have already found Jack Clarke’s successor.
